LAVISH BAR & GRILL – RESTAURANT POLICIES
At Lavish Bar & Grill, we want every guest to enjoy exceptional food, warm hospitality and a relaxed yet refined dining experience. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our policies before your visit.
Reservations
Reservations can be made online using our booking calendar, by calling 01438 222 215, or by emailing bookings@lavishrestaurant.co.uk.
We recommend booking in advance, particularly for Friday and Saturday evenings, Bottomless Brunch and Sunday Roast.
Group Bookings
For bookings of 8 guests or more, please contact us directly so our team can arrange your reservation.
A deposit may be required to secure larger bookings. Where a deposit is required, our team will confirm the amount and applicable terms before your booking is confirmed.
For larger parties, a set or group menu may apply.
Cancellations & No-Shows
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or amend your reservation, please contact us as early as possible.
Where a deposit has been taken, late cancellations, significant reductions in party size or failure to attend may result in some or all of the deposit being retained.
Arrival & Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your reservation.
If you are running late, please call us as soon as possible. During busy periods, we cannot guarantee that tables will be held for significantly late arrivals and your reservation may need to be released.
Children
Families and children are very welcome at Lavish.
On Fridays and Saturdays, children are welcome until 5 PM. After 5 PM, we maintain an adults-focused dining atmosphere.
Dress Code
Guests are expected to dine in smart to smart-casual attire.
We kindly ask all guests to dress appropriately for the contemporary dining atmosphere at Lavish Bar & Grill. Management reserves the right to refuse entry where clothing is considered unsuitable for the venue.
Bottomless Brunch
Our Bottomless Brunch is available every Saturday.
Bottomless Brunch is subject to the applicable menu, sitting times and booking conditions.
Alcohol is available only to guests aged 18 or over, and valid photographic identification may be requested. Alcohol will always be served responsibly, and management reserves the right to refuse or discontinue alcohol service where appropriate.
Sunday Roast
Our Sunday Roast is served every Sunday from 12 PM until 4 PM, subject to availability.
We recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Allergies & Dietary Requirements
Please inform us of any food allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements when making your reservation and again when ordering at the restaurant.
Our kitchen handles a wide variety of ingredients. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee that any dish will be completely free from traces of allergens.
Please speak to a member of our team before ordering if you have an allergy or specific dietary requirement.

We want all our guests and staff to enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Abusive, threatening, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour towards our staff or other guests will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave where necessary.

Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings while visiting Lavish Bar & Grill. Please take care of valuables, coats, bags and other personal items during your visit.

LAVISH BAR & GRILL – PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: September 2026
Lavish Bar & Grill respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal data when you visit our website, make a reservation, contact us or visit our restaurant.
1. Who We Are
For the purposes of UK data protection law, the business operating Lavish Bar & Grill is the data controller of the personal information described in this policy.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how your personal information is handled, please contact us:
Lavish Bar & Grill
Telephone: 01438 222 215
Email: bookings@lavishrestaurant.co.uk
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
Your name
Telephone number
Email address
Reservation date and time
Number of guests
Booking requests and preferences
Dietary requirements or allergy information you choose to provide
Information relating to deposits and payments
Communications between you and Lavish Bar & Grill
Marketing preferences
Website usage and technical information such as device, browser and IP address
CCTV images if CCTV operates within or around our premises
We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
3. How We Use Your Information
We may use your personal information to:
Make, manage, amend and confirm reservations
Contact you regarding your booking
Process deposits and payments
Respond to questions, complaints or other enquiries
Record dietary requirements or allergy information you provide
Provide and improve our restaurant services
Maintain appropriate business and financial records
Prevent fraud and protect our customers, staff and business
Maintain the security of our premises
Send marketing communications where permitted
Understand how customers use our website and improve its performance
Our lawful basis will depend on why we are using your information. This may include performing a contract or taking steps requested by you before entering into one, complying with legal obligations, pursuing our legitimate business interests, or obtaining your consent where required.
4. Reservations
When you make a reservation online, by telephone or by email, we use the information you provide to administer your booking and communicate with you about your visit.
Our online booking facilities may be provided by a third-party reservation platform. Where a third-party provider processes information on our behalf, it may receive the information necessary to manage your reservation.
The ICO requires privacy information to be made available when personal information is collected, rather than simply having a policy somewhere on the website.
5. Payments & Deposits
For certain bookings, including larger groups or special events, we may request a deposit.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. We do not normally need to store your full debit or credit card details ourselves where payment is handled securely by a payment provider.
Payment and transaction records may be retained where required for accounting, taxation, fraud prevention or legal purposes.
6. Marketing Communications
We may occasionally send information about Lavish Bar & Grill, including menus, events, Bottomless Brunch, special offers and other promotions.
We will only send electronic marketing where we have an appropriate legal basis and comply with applicable UK electronic marketing rules.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
UK PECR rules generally require consent for unsolicited email/text marketing to individuals unless the requirements of the existing-customer soft opt-in are satisfied. For that exception, contact details must have been obtained directly during a sale or negotiation, marketing must concern similar services, and customers must have been offered a clear opt-out both when their details were collected and in every subsequent marketing communication.
Making a restaurant reservation does not automatically mean that you have agreed to receive unrestricted marketing communications from us.
You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe option provided or by contacting us.
7. Cookies & Website Analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate correctly, remember preferences, understand how visitors use the website and improve our services.
Some cookies are necessary for the website to function. Other cookies, such as certain analytics or advertising cookies, may require your consent.
Where required, you can accept, reject or manage optional cookies through our website's cookie settings.
8. CCTV
CCTV may be used within or around our premises for security, crime prevention and the protection of our customers, employees and property.
Where CCTV is used, appropriate signage will be displayed.
CCTV recordings will only be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes, unless footage needs to be preserved in connection with an incident, investigation, insurance matter or legal requirement.
9. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information where reasonably necessary with organisations providing services to us, including:
Reservation and booking-system providers
Website hosting and technology providers
Payment processors
Email and communications providers
Accountants and professional advisers
IT and security providers
Government authorities, regulators, law enforcement or courts where legally required
Service providers acting on our behalf are expected to process personal information appropriately and only for authorised purposes.
The ICO specifically requires privacy notices to explain the recipients, or categories of recipients, with whom personal information is shared where applicable.
10. International Data Transfers
Some technology, booking, website or communications providers may process information outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, we will take appropriate steps to ensure that the transfer complies with applicable UK data protection requirements.
11. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including satisfying legal, accounting, tax, dispute-resolution and regulatory requirements.
Different types of information may therefore have different retention periods.
When information is no longer required, it will be deleted, anonymised or securely disposed of where appropriate.
12. Your Data Protection Rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights including the right to:
Request access to your personal information
Ask us to correct inaccurate information
Request deletion of your information in certain circumstances
Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
Object to certain uses of your information
Request transfer of certain information
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
Object to direct marketing
These rights are not absolute and may depend on the circumstances and lawful basis on which your information is being processed. The ICO identifies these rights as information that should be addressed in a privacy notice.
To exercise your rights, please contact us at bookings@lavishrestaurant.co.uk.
13. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
Access to personal information is limited to people and service providers who reasonably require it for legitimate business purposes.
14. Complaints
If you have concerns about how we use your personal information, please contact us first so that we have an opportunity to address the matter.
You also have the right to raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, services or legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on our website with the date it was last updated.
